☆ Zodiac Girls [January, February + March]

Friday Art: 6th Feb 2015.

Over the Christmas/ New Year period, everything seems to stop. Schools off for six weeks, dance classes are on break, play groups + day care are all on holidays. There is no 3pm pick up, 8.30 drop offs. There is no need to race from one event to the next. And of course all the festive events are done + dusted for the year.

By the time Boxing day arrives I am ready to just do nothing. Nothing but read, sleep + watch bad movies.

But after New Years Eve, I start to get a little titchy, I want to begin all the ideas I have NOW, not in two weeks, two months or even next year...

And of course the girls start missing their dance classes + seeing their friends at play groups + school. And honestly I miss that adult conversation that comes with those moments.

So during this time you may have seen on Facebook + Instagram some of the art work that I was able to work on during my break.

Unicorns, humming birds, the beginnings of Lifebook 2015. I can't wait to share them with you!

But first I want to share with you the first three of my Zodiac Girls series.
