☆ Tea Cup Pirate [Final Reveal]

I feel like this painting has been around all month - definitely this last three weeks any way! And then when I opened up my June Art folder, I realised that this painting has been my main focus this month, as it is the only painting in there.

So this is were I left her after the first week + was stuck with her hair.

Last week, I was totally looking forward to finishing her off last week, but I was just to tired + then started wondering about the back ground + what colour would suit best.

And so finally this week I got stuck into her + finished her off!

I love some of the details of this painting - the blue in her hair

The folds of her dress...

And the tea cup...

On face book, someone said "she looks like she is taking a quick break before getting back to world domination!!" (I love that SO much!)

So next time your trying for world domination, or maybe just household domination, take a break + have a cuppa!

Oh + heres a sneak peak of what I am working on next!

Have a great weekend...
