☆ The Pirate Sisters

Last week end the girls + I were invited to a four year olds pirate party. Walking up the street they were holding hands and singing at the tops of their voices that they were the pirate sisters.

Immediately I thought that this would be an awesome painting, so that's how this painting came to be...

We are off to the big smoke this weekend, and I am hoping to visit a couple of art shops + maybe score a new pair of jeans that stay up!

    Oh my goodness...these are stunningly beautiful. I hope you write something beside these or on the back of this about how your girls inspired this picture...They will be so excited when they get older to read it!! Get these into a book fast...       Hi Gloria - Big smoke is slang for a city - I presume because they used to be industrial + smokey, my family have always said it when we are going to visit a city like Sydney or Canberra.
